Prices are based on size, number of persons, and complexity (e.g. how complicated is the background, whether it’s necessary to combine different photos).
Below are prices for painting directly from a reference photo without significant extra requirements. Paintings will be stretched (frameless) and ready for presentation.
Pets, when included among people, do not incur extra per-person costs, but will nonetheless be painted with the same uncompromising respect and care.

By far the most popular sizes are 40x51cm and 51x76cm. Both are amazingly versatile – the former fits almost any space, and the latter is wonderful in areas like the living room and bedroom.
30x42cm and smaller sizes are great for minimal spaces, a lovely gift for an individual, a couple, or small families.
For a signature piece and to truly impress, the 76x101cm is unquestionably stunning.
Custom sizes are absolutely possible, including paintings 2-metres wide and larger.
To commence work, I require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price. The balance will be due upon completion and before collection or delivery of the artwork.
I usually need about 3 to 4 weeks to complete an oil painting, including drying time. More requirements need more time.
Depending on schedule and complexity, urgent jobs may be achievable in a week. Additional costs may be necessary for sleepless nights, and likely a special frame, so you can safely handle and display the painting while still wet.
All portraits are handpainted with traditional media, without technological intevention, and therefore will never be perfect. However, you can expect a highly respectable rendering of human likeness.
Beyond this promise, I humbly request absolute creative freedom in the entire painting process.
