Yanjun – Personal Portraits
This personal photoshoot was done after many years of consideration. And I’m glad I waited!
The pictures really captured me the way I would like to be portrayed – at ease being myself and unafraid of sharing my passions in life.
Friends and family members tell me that the pictures spoke great depth about my love for music and I knew that the photoshoot had marked a new milestone in my music and my life.
Thanks Kelvin, you are a really good photographer and you have such an eye for beauty in people! I’m amazed at how the photos turned out and I have to say, the memories of the photoshoot and the pictures will remain with me for a long time.

When we approached you to take these photos, we wanted to have pictures that could reflect the way our families and we were at this present moment in the most genuine way possible. You definitely did that and gave us a treasure-box filled with portraits; portraits that make us laugh, feel all warm inside and tug at our heartstrings.
It means so much to us that even though Huat and I will be apart for the next few months, we can look at these pictures, feel each other’s presence and smile.

KC [the joker] & Ling – Sensual Portraits
We have been wanting to have our portrait photos taken by Kelvin ever since we saw some of his works. We have high expectations even before coming into the session.
The actual day shoot session was actually more fun than we expected as he & Elaine are warm & friendly & we feel like we have been friends for years.
The tough part, surprisingly, was the photo selection as many of the photo turns out so well and it was so hard for us to choose. We wanted all! Ling looked gorgeous in all the photos. She said she is emotionally connected to the photos & I’m not surprised.
For us, Kelvin has passed our “test” with flying colours even when we had set the standard high.
Rod, Jen, Gab, Aly – Family Portraits
When we first met Kelvin, we thought he was different and to a degree “weird” as some might say. Kelvin wasn’t our first choice wedding photographer when we were searching for one. We were quite specific with our criteria because we’re not models and do not want pose-y photos. We want to be able to look back at our photos 20 years later and go.. “Yup, that’s us!”.
Most photographers we spoke to immediately showed us their works or prices and told us what he/she can do for us. Kelvin was different; he took the time to sit with us and encouraged us to share our thoughts with him.
Then, came the day of our photo shoot. We actually had fun, he made us feel at ease and we soon realised that he is actually quite a funny guy! We trusted his “vision through his camera” and gave him the freedom to use his creativity.
Judgement day arrived and we were initially worried we may not like the outcome but we were pleasantly surprised at how the photos turned out!
Couple of years later, Gabriel was born and we wanted to do a family portrait. I immediately thought of Kelvin. I’ve been following Kelvin’s work and was very impressed with his strive for perfection in every photograph he takes. I believe he is a very versatile photographer. Again, he proved us right and we were all very happy with his work. We loved the way he captures the “moments” with Gabriel!
A few years on, we had our 2nd born, Alyssa. We decided to ‘update’ our family portrait but we weren’t sure if our kids were a little too young to “sit” through a session.
Kelvin was very patient and in the end, our kids were running amuck with him!
We absolutely loved the expressions that he captured of them and the photos speak for themselves! At the end of the day, every photo is like a work of art and Kelvin is truly the Artist.
Cindy Chan – Wedding/Personal/Friends’ Portraits
I first got to know Kelvin when I was shopping for a pre-wedding shoot photographer. I met up with a few and felt most comfortable with Kelvin. He is so friendly and put me at ease despite this was our first meeting.
I told him my biggest concern was how the photographer can get my hubby to be natural and he assured me that I don’t have to worry about it at all. On the day of the shoot, not only did he managed to capture many good shots of my hubby, he also managed to click very well with him. At the end of the shoot, they were like old friends sharing jokes and chatting away!
Kelvin not only gave us lots of beautiful photos to keep but also wonderful memories we will never forget.
Friends and relatives love the album he created for us!
Recently, I decided to give my girlfriends a surprise for their birthday by arranging a group photo shoot with Kelvin. Kelvin and Elaine are so friendly and approachable, they put everyone at ease. My girlfriends were very impressed with Kelvin’s portfolio and totally enjoyed themselves during the shoot. We simply love the photos he took for us!
Kelvin is definitely a wonderful artist who is creative and passionate about his work.
