Personal Boudoir
The real powerful moment though, was looking at the photos. It was incredibly emotional because I never saw myself this way. It was sensual, authentic, raw and so beautiful.

Some clients book a boudoir session to celebrate a milestone. Some come at their lowest point to find solace. Some do it as a special gift for a loved one. Several spent years being their own harshest critic and want, for once, to see themselves differently.
For many, it’s simply because they’ve always wanted to, and decided now is the right time.
There can never be a specific reason, such is the diversity of personalities and life stages we’ve experienced. Among the people who shared their lives with us are a lady who isolated herself for 10 years, and before the session never had the chance to see herself against the world outside; cancer survivors; a convict seeking a reflection of dignity days before the sentence; a man, almost paralysed from the waist down, overwhelmed at the image of himself simply crossing his legs; a young lady and a gentleman with collapsed chests; single moms, single dads; individuals and couples embracing life at 40, 50, 60, 70; the deaf and the mute, with whom we indulge in beautiful silence.
Whatever your reason, wherever you are in life, Elaine and I welcome you with the warmth of genuine acceptance.

what to expect
The session goes at your pace, with no fixed end time and no shot list. We start with a conversation — usually over drinks or a light meal. By the time we begin shooting, most clients have forgotten they were nervous.
Bring two or three outfits, more if you like, or none at all. Wear whatever feels most comfortable for you. It’s ok if you’re not sure – we’ll help you decide on the day.
Elaine will be with you throughout, attending to everything you need while I work. We take our time, and I guide with simple directions — where to look, where to place your hands. I observe quietly, and photograph what moves me about you.
You can view the photographs with us right after the session. The experience can be overwhelming in the best possible way. Choose only what you love — there’s no pressure to take more than you want.

Marilyn
“I finally did something for myself, after all the sacrifices I made in life.”
Shirley
“I’ve always wrestled with my identity and confidence. Kelvin went above and beyond to capture raw emotions… I was really stunned especially for some of the masterpieces.”

An experience I would treasure until I’m old and grey.
